Maybe Carl Ichan will invest in Spirit.
If icon had invented in JetBlue pre Covid, when JetBlue had one of the strongest balance sheets in the industry I would have been worried. He could have done to them what he did to TWA. But now the fleet is encumbered and they have large amounts of debt acquired to get through Covid. I suspect he just saw an undervalued company with the potential to double or triple his investment.
