This summer is getting weirder and weirder. Travel demand is back, but the airlines are struggling to handle it. My comment here about American’s move being good for the traveler means that it’s better to cancel flights further out and reaccommodate in advance than it is cancel at the last minute. That doesn’t mean having a flight canceled is good for travelers. It’s just better than the alternative.
