Dave and I have spent a lot of time talking to you about airlines, but you know what we realized? Maybe you’d like to hear from other people too. This week, we started off with a bang, having Wall Street Journal Carry On columnist Dawn Gilbertson join us to talk about her mad adventure trying to stress test the air travel system over July 4th weekend with 11 flights.
Dawn joined the Journal a few months ago and has been writing her weekly Carry On column. She clearly does not shy away from actually living the life of the road warrior, and I wanted to hear more about the trip, so definitely listen in. In the meantime, here’s her bio:
Dawn Gilbertson is a columnist covering all things travel, helping readers navigate the joys and frustrations of vacations, business trips and family visits. She has reported on airlines and travel for three decades and has been doling out travel tips since an eighth grade trip from Connecticut to Disney World in the family station wagon.
Before joining the Journal in 2022, she worked for USA Today and the Arizona Republic. She graduated from Syracuse University and was awarded a Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economics Reporting at Columbia University.
Email Dave here to tell him how much you enjoyed listening to someone else talk.
