Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
It makes sense that the Chairman of The Board of Directors would want a close ally in the CEO position. Didn’t Southwest do essentially the same thing? In that light, this is not only unsurprising, but to be expected. The proof will be in the pudding in terms of the company’s future performance.
