LATAM and British Airways, Iberia-parent IAG drop partnership plans – TPG
Remember when LATAM said that its divorce from American and oneworld wouldn’t impact its other partnerships? Ha, yeah, right. It is no longer going to do a joint venture with IAG. I was asked if I thought this was due to the Air Europa acquisition, but that seems crazy to me. It seems far from a guarantee that the purchase of Air Europa will be approved, so I assume this is more about regulatory issues among other things.
