United makes good on pledge to improve on-time performance – Travel Weekly
United’s operation has certainly improved, but I cautioned that some of this is due to schedule padding. That’s fine for the short run to get things in order, but it’s not a long term solution (despite it having been a long term solution for United for years already). Let’s hope United is actively working to fix the underlying issues now. (And let’s hope American starts getting that same religion…)

United had us all board a plane to Seattle this morning – fight 389 Sunday morning, but no pilot. Evidently he forgot he had a flight so evidently United has no system to call or confirm with crew the night before. We will all now miss our connection on another flight which is not a United one. They are trying to find another pilot but it will be hours! Unbelievable!!!
