Welcome from the Cranky Flier

I’ve had many friends tell me that I should be blogging, but for some reason I’ve resisted until now. But now that some friends have actually gone out there and set up the basics of this blog for me, how could I say no?

I have a lot of seemingly useless knowledge about the airline industry that somehow comes in handy sometimes. I’m always getting emails and phone calls from friends asking for advice on buying tickets, getting to the airport, etc. Now I’ve decided to move these conversations to a public forum so others can benefit.

I’ve worked in the industry before, but now I’m running the travel site for an internet company, so my ties still run deep. I’m always on top of the latest news, and I plan on discussing it here on a daily basis . . . as long as it impacts the flying public.
