I was only responsible for writing up the best airports in the US according to the reader survey. These were all small airports and I had been to 8 of the 10 myself.

    1. Danwriter – No paywall on this and it worked fine for me. I’m not sure what the issue is but it’s a CN Traveler thing and not anything I have control over I’m afraid.

  1. The slideshow plays just fine for me. If you have AdBlock, the occasional ads will skip if you just press the arrows on the sides of the frame.

I’m sure MEM will bounce back once they consolidate all of their ops into Terminal B, but shame that Corky’s left. Best post-security airport food I’ve ever had.

I don’t know how the heck MCI escaped the “worst airports” list. Food options are nearly non-existent both pre- and post-security. Dreary concrete architecture is less than inspiring at an airport nearly 20 miles from downtown KC. Once past security, heaven help you if you need to get something to eat or have to go to the bathroom.

    1. DCDuck – Interesting to me was the feedback I got on Palm Beach after that was included. Apparently the food there is terrible.

  2. one other bonus for TF Green airport – providence- is the large information desk is staffed by hospitality students from Johnson & Wales University. great airport and local tourism info!

  3. What? No love for STL on the 10-worst list? Two concourses closed; the rest with all the ambiance of a DMV office. $10 burgers. Random pieces of insulation and wiring sticking out of the ceiling. Parking rates that would be at home in midtown Manhattan. I’m shocked, shocked at the omission!
