With Cranky Dorkfest coming up, and the waitlist for the LAX ramp visit growing, I’ve been asked by some how they could have learned about the event more quickly. The simple answer is that there are two options, and one of them just became more useful.

• You can subscribe

Subscribing used to be just a single email in your inbox every time something new gets posted, but now there are more options, and all of them are free.

• You can continue to get an email every time new content goes live
• Long-time readers may get a weekly digest, but that hasn’t been available for new signups for years… until this week
• If you only care about Cranky events, there is now an “Events Only” option which will send you email about all events, Cranky Dorkfest or otherwise

Again, all of these options cost you nothing. If you sign up, you will receive an email requiring you to click to confirm. And of course, you can unsubscribe at any time by going to the bottom of any email sent to you.
