As you can imagine, yesterday’s post on user fees just about burned me out for the week. I spent hours on Wednesday night getting that thing together, so hopefully it made some sense by the time I posted it.
When I came time to put a post together for this morning, I just didn’t have it in me. Instead, I’ve decided to end the week with this awesome shot of a BA 747-400 departing LAX for London/Heathrow.
This pic comes from fellow PriceGrabber employee Chris Craig. You can see more of his work here. Next time I get invited to an inaugural flight, I’ll bring him along so you can actually see some high quality photos.

Speaking of Heathrow … I just wanted to say just how damn busy that airport is. I flew in/out of there just this past week and I don’t ever recall seeing an airport with that many planes landing/taking-off in such quick successions. In fact, driving around London with a friend I remember at one point I kept seeing different planes hovering in the air … about 4 diff. ones in a few minutes span. Amazing.
But it’s not the busiest airport in the world–is it?
No, it’s not the busiest in the world, but it’s always at the top of the list. It’s even more impressive since Atlanta, which is the busiest, has 5 runways, Chicago/O’Hare has 6, and Heathrow has only 2.
Great photos by your colleague!
