Are You Ready For Some Football… Airplane Porn? (Topic of the Week)

Airplane Porn

It’s been awhile since I’ve put up any airplane porn on the site, but this seemed like a fun one. Boeing has painted (or put decals on) a 747-8 to support the Seahawks in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

As if that wasn’t enough, Boeing then took the airplane and drew a “12” over the eastern half of Washington with its flight path.

Now, who’s gonna win the game?

  1. I’m not a football fan, but I love the Seahawks logo and colours. It looks great in the 748! I think it is time for a hockey livery – jetBlue + Boston Bruins? Dallas Stars + AA? I don’t know what the 12 means though…

    1. I think I read on Twitter the other day a comment that the NHL doesn’t allow out-of-market advertising or sponsors or something like that, which would make a hockey team logojet problematic.

  2. The 12 refers to the “12th man” or “12th player” the fans who often make a lot of noise and can be influentual in a game by making it hard for the other team to hear the plays being called on the line of scrimage. A few times they have made such a noise in Seattle that a low level earthquake was registered.

  3. I like it!

I also have to wonder if there isn’t a Dallas Cowboys (not to mention NY Giants and Jets, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, etc.) aircraft in the new American Airlines’ future.

      1. US Airways already has Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles aircraft liveries, so it would appear that the licensing issues have already been dealt with.

  4. Now what, Monday morning it gets removed or if they win Boeing parks the plane near a freeway or something so people can see it? But it is a very large billboard for the team….lol

  5. The Big Game’s results are already in…..and the BIG WINNER is…….SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!!! Of the 88 DCA slots available, WN gobbled 54! So, the final score is: SOUTHWEST 54, REST OF INDUSTRY COMBINED, 34! I’d call that a pretty good trouncing!

  6. Too bad South Carolina doesn’t have any pro sports franchises. Then they could have painted a 787 empennage using non-union labor.
