    1. Sure, they could have but that would have involved creating a new subfleet of 757s different from what they already have. It must not have been worth it when they looked at it. (Hopefully they at least looked at it.)

  1. Oh the UA article brought up the question, what ever happened to that back handed outsourcing UA tried a bit back by having one of their partners (Aer Lingus?) fly and staff it into IAD?

    1. It’s still happening, believe it or not. I have no doubt it’ll be gone as part of the next pilot contract, whenever that happens.
