Off topic (but on time): Any thoughts about Allegiant’s imminent departure from Long Beach? Just a week ago I was at their counter buying a ticket (and saving the web convenience fee), and while chatting with the agents there they told me they were going to start Hawaii in the spring. And now I read that all service will be gone in less than 2 months…

Don’t you just wish that JetBlue would be allowed to use the E190’s on commuter slots? With the 20+ commuter slots available that could make LGB a real hub (although JetBlue is more O&D focused anyway).
