There is a great article that the Chicago Tribune put out in 2005 that supports such foresight: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/chi-051023rockfordburns-story,0,5706600.story?page=1 Although it can be argued that the name "Chicago Rockford", in terms of pax draw, might be premature, it will be aptly titled in due time. Rockford will eventually see an exponential increase in pax traffic when the W/NW Suburbs reach Marengo and ORD is once again max’d.
