		<description>Aniz - I would just do my best to reduce the amount of weight you bring onboard.  It should be ok if it&#039;s close - they usually don&#039;t weigh the carry on as strictly as they do checked bags, but there&#039;s no guarantee of that.</description>

		<description>Lufthansa carryon luggage policy states your carryon cannot be over 17.5 pounds... my carry on suticase weighs 9 pounds... Does anyone know how strict they are on this? can I put my heavey stuff into my carry on BIG purse then transfer it back to my suitcase after they weigh it?  or should I resign myself to checking my carryon... I really dont want to check it in as I am flying LA to Frankfurt then changing to planes to fly to Rome... I want my luggage with me.. any tips are appreciated</description>
