Airplane Porn: Mark Literally on AirTran

Airplane Porn, AirTran

I’m going light on my post today since it’s officially a holiday here in the US. What better way to kick off the holiday weekend than with a little airplane porn?

This time, there actually is a person involved, but fortunately, he is fully clothed. Apparently, AirTran is really happy that Mark Malkoff made it through June without a hitch. This has been great publicity for the airline and its wifi efforts, and they’ve decided to commemorate the event with a giant picture of Mark, literally on AirTran.

That’s Mark’s wife, who appears to be rather happy to have her husband back despite the fact that he hasn’t seen a shower since May.

I hope everyone enjoys their 4th here in the US. (And for my British readers, I hope you aren’t still too bitter – it has, after all, been more than 230 years. You know we still love you.)

  1. I wonder how much fame he will have now that it’s over.

You and Mrs Cranky enjoy your long weekend also.

  2. I still celebrate the 4th even though we relinquished responsibility of this land some years ago – I go round to our friends with my Union Jack just to let them know that we have not all left!

Have a good 4th all you regardless of nationality..

    Nick (Brit)

  3. Great post! haha I’m not sure I could spend that long on a plane and I love aviation!
But the holiday part is new to me: I never thought the 3rd was a holiday too..but then again here in new york a couple of places were already setting off fireworks today. Is it just because it falls on a saturday this year?

And, as Nick said, Happy 4th to everyone, regardless of nationality.

  4. considering that america celebrate IN-dependace of Britain.. read it again!… should tell you that America is still controlled by London. Sorry to burst your bubble!!

  5. Rob – Yes, it’s only a holiday this year because the 4th is on a Saturday. Next year when the 4th is on a Sunday, the 5th will be a holiday. That’s the way the federal govt recognizes all date-specific holidays, at least.

  6. Never bitter, Cranky. We pass our time contemplating the 230 years of unpaid tax we’re relying on receiving to get us out of this recession!
